■The idea of pocket maintenance
Passing 40 years old , probability of missing tooth caused by periodontitis is statistically rising . Periodontitis is chronic disease , and once having this , complete cure could be difficult . Therefore , cleaning of periodontal sulcus where is difficult to be cleaned with toothbrushes should be done periodically in dental clinic .

As a consequence of this process , the periodontal disease could be cured , but in case of the remaining of periodontal pocket , a periodical maintenance of the periodontal disease in dental clinic would be indispensable. Maintenance schedule will be planned by the extent of periodontal disease , the condition of brushing , and your opinion . We recommend every 3 months visit basically , but maintenance program would vary from every month to half a year , thinking highly of your request .

■GTR metohods
Guided Tissue Regeneration (GTR) is a procedure that enables bone and tissue to re-grow around an endangered tooth.During GTR therapy (for teeth) the soft (gum) tissue is surgically separated from the endangered tooth and the tooth surface is thoroughly cleaned and infected tissues are removed from the area. After cleaning a small piece of material called a GTR membrane is placed against the tooth. This GTR membrane serves as a barrier that separates fast-growing soft (gum) tissue from the newly cleaned surface of the tooth root. The membrane enables slower-growing fibers and bone cells to migrate into the protected area.
GTR methods enable teeth not to be looked long compared with conventional methods .

■Periodontal Plastic Surgery
